I'm just wondering if DiKU doesn't have some kind of softwarelibrary containing software that is relevant for IT students? I know theres a software-library on intranet.ku.dk where you can get Maple etc. but I know that both ITU and DTU provide programs like MS Visual Studio, Windows 7 Professional and so on, for free for their students. If we don't have it, lets start a motion for getting it?! |

DIKU is a member of the MSDN Academic Alliance (MSDNAA) offering software such as Windows, Visual Studio and more. A full list of software is available here: http://msdn63.e-academy.com/ucopenh_csc/index.cfm?loc=main Registration for the service is available only through the terminals at DIKU on the following page: http://msdnaa.diku.dk/ The method for getting an MSDNAA account has now changed. "You can get DreamSpark Premium (formerly known as MSDNAA) if you contact SCIENCE it, it-support@science.ku.dk, who can give you an account. Expect a case handling of two weeks." (source) For those people with an account but having trouble finding the correct site to log into, the link is: http://e5.onthehub.com/WebStore/ProductsByMajorVersionList.aspx?ws=6e3d6421-a972-e011-971f-0030487d8897&vsro=8&JSEnabled=1 |
Cheers, the MSDNN alliance was what I was refering too, I'll go register asap.
@oleks: you're completely right, I used the term "relevant" on purpose ;)
